  • NBA 2010 Finals Game 6 of the Lakers and Celtics: 3-3

The NBA 2010 Finals Game 6 of the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics has just finished. It was LA Lakers who won this time pushing for a Game 7 final rematch at the LA Staple Center home court of Lakers on June 17, Thursday at 9PM Eastern Time at the Staples Center in Los Angeles California.

The Lakers blitzed the Celtics early and often en route to a 89-67 victory in Game 6 at the Staples Center. The Lakers reserves outscored Boston's bench, 15-0, in the first half as L.A. surged to a 51-31 lead.

Nate Robinson demonstrated his lack of understanding for the game of basketball with a 2-of-8 performance featuring at least five questionable shots. Boston's Big Three scored all but two of the team's points in the first 24 minutes.

The Celtics have struggled in the half-court at times during the series thanks to this strategy and Rondo’s reluctance to shoot from the perimeter. The game ended with Lakers as the winner with a total score of 89 as against Celtics’ score of 67.

Celtics this time took the lead closing the quarter at scores of 16-13. However, that score was not enough to grab the lead from Lakers with a 25 points lead at the close of the third quarter.
